Former Soviet Union Projects
Evaluation of mineral industry opportunities in the rapidly expanding markets of the Former Soviet Union by Western geologists and mining engineers requires detailed knowledge of the often very different treatment of geotechnical data and of local reserve and resource categorisation systems. Our personnel have now carried out field and data evaluation of a number of advanced projects in this challenging part of the world, often working in close collaboration with their eastern counterparts, and have developed an excellent understanding of both the technical and cultural problems of operating in the environment.
